Conclusion

The finished project is pictured here with the upgraded Epiphone Dot, which sounds pretty awesome through this amp!

Super 6 with the upgraded Ephiphone Dot

Well, we had mixed feelings before starting this project. On the one hand, we didn't want to just chuck this old vintage Fender combo cab. On the other hand, we were a bit reluctant to cut it up. But it was just too big for us to use as is (that's why we had moved the chassis to a Twin Reverb style cab in the first place, which, actually, was still too heavy). It was also too big to try to sell and then ship (no one here locally was interested in it at the time).

However, We're thrilled that we finally decided to do this. This amp sounds awesome through the 4 Celestions, which easily handle the 100 watt Twin Reverb stye chassis, and it is a much more manageable amp to move around. Plus, we think it looks pretty cool with its natural wood finish, and sitting on the old Vox stand!

So, how can we change the name on the chassis to "Super Four Reverb"?
