Amp Projects

We have been tinkering with electronics since we were a teenager (the '60s). We would buy old radios and Hi-Fis at rummage sales, and take them apart to see what made them work. We have built a number of kits (pre-amps, power amps, and some test gear) over the years, and, back in the '70s, a power amp and a solid state guitar pre-amp from scratch, based on plans from Popular Electronics Magazine. We learned a lot, and still get quite a bit of satisfaction from these projects.
