Crate B-60 Bass Amp Project - Home
Here is another guitar amp chassis that we built a custom cab for. One of our daughters has started playing bass with some musician friends, so we wanted to set her up with a reasonably sized bass amp for smaller venues.
This one is a Crate B-60 solid state bass amp chassis that we found on eBay. It originally came as a combo in a cab with one 15" speaker. We built the cab a little differently than anything I had built before. The main differences were that this time we used finger joints at the corners, and the speaker compartment is sealed (not open back).
